The Office of Human Affairs, Inc., (OHA) is a private, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) community action agency located in Newport News, Virginia.
Established in 1965, OHA has over 36-years experience in addressing the social service and community development needs of low-income residents, assisting low-income individuals and families by fulfilling its mission to "plan, develop and implement programs that foster self-sufficiency through educational, social, physical and economic development."
OHA became a 501(c)3 organization in April 1993, and serves persons of all ages, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions and educational levels.
The project service area is the low-income areas of the Cities of Hampton and Newport News,Virginia.

WE NEED FOOD, I ONLY GET A SMALL DISABILITY CHECK & MY WIFE GETS A SMALL SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK WE DON'T HAVE A CAR, I NEED A WALKER, AND CAN'T GET TO ANY FOOD PANTRIES, I NEED IT TO BE DELIVERED, WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO HAVE A CHRISTMAS DINNER.
