The Father's Table program at Open Door Ministries serves three meals a day seven days a week to the homeless and less fortunate in our community. There are no stipulations as to who is served as we truly offer an open door to those who are hungry.
In 2004 Open Door Ministries began a Million Meal campaign and in 2011 the goal of serving one million meals was surpassed. Over 12,000 meals per month are donated, prepared, and served by local churches, organizations, businesses, restaurants and community volunteers. The program makes it possible for those in need to receive a hot meal at no cost. The program serves men, women and children of all ages.
The Father's Table relies on donations and we have a continuous need for canned foods, fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta, flour, and coffee. There is also an immediate need for new or used kitchen towels.
Volunteers are key to keeping the Father's Table open seven days a week. Community organizations, groups and individuals come in, sometimes on a monthly basis to serve our clients. If you are interested in supporting the Father's Table, opportunities include donations of food along with new or used kitchen items.Daily serving opportunities are also available for:

Breakfast
8:00 am to 9:00 am
Lunch
11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Dinner
6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Monetary donations can be designated to the Father's Table by mailing a check to Open Door Ministries, 400 North Centennial Street, High Point, NC 27262. Donations can also be made online by clicking here.
