The Houston Food Bank collects, stores and distributes food to almost five hundred hunger-fighting agencies and programs in eighteen counties of southeast Texas.
Their Backpack Buddy and Kids Cafe programs provide supplemental food to school children on weekends and after school.

Trying to find a food bank to help me blind elderly need help with food
Need food
Just trying to find a place where I can get some food while I out of work. Got laid off a month ago. I haven't been able to file for unemployment because I can't get though. Been trying every day all day. Would not ask unless I am in need. I am losing weight every day and not by choice. I am 56 years old and am a diabetic anything will help. If you could email me a response so I can figure something out. TY. God Bless
