Twice a month, FUMC in Wauchula provides groceries for needy families. About 150 packages containing canned food, meat and other staples are distributed each month.
Hours of operation:
2nd and 4th Thursday of the month
10:00 am - 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Requirements:
No identification or proof of residence required.
However, they are required to be a Hardee County resident.
Don't be put on a waiting list, crumpled cans or knocked boxes as well.
Be a wagon or "old lady wagon" to help bring your items out.
