This program provides emergency food to income qualified and homeless individuals in the mountain communities around Idyllwild.
In addition, this program provides food vouchers for needy individuals.
It also provides vouchers for perishable food during the holidays.


Target Populations:
Low Income, Homeless People, Homeless Families


Site Services:
Clients receive enough food for at least 4 meals.
Clients may request food once per week.


Eligibility:
Income qualified and homeless Mountain community residents.



Intake/Application:
Walk-in.


Documents:
Picture Identification for every person 18 years and older in the household; Identification for every person under the age of 18 (birth certificate, Medi-Cal Card, Social Security Card); Current proof of residency (current utility bill, or rent receipt); Current proof of income for everyone in the household (Social Security, Food Stamps, Salary, Cal-Works, etc.).


Fees:
Food recipients are asked to donate 30 minutes of time to a service project benefitting the HELP Center.

I noticed some very brand new cars in queue for food boxes. Who drives a Cadillac Escalade with very expensive rims, looking perfectly clean and needs a food box?
