Golden Rule Charities - The Pantry

The first time I went was only because I was taking my good friend who was in need of food for their home . I was not interested at first until I actually looked at what some of the things people were walking out the Pantry with in hand (grocery bags) then I became more curious in which we were also in need of food for our home, me and my family of 5. After looking thru the window to get a more closer up look inside, “I should not dare ask how may I my self and my family of 3 kids and a fiancé become a qualified shopper” telling my self consciously over and over like a broken record playing in my head. After, I made the call to my fiancé who helped me and myself snapped out of such a ignorant thing to think when our kiddos should come first rather than my ignorant pride always being told that those kinds of free handouts are “NOT FOR YOU “! here I was standing outside after the phone conversation with my love and finishing my last few hits of the cigarette I was nervously chain smoking, threw it down and went inside and came out with the best decision I made that day.. also with the help of a lovely partner of mine and her real life situation words of choice. I will NEVER feel such a way EVER again to when it comes to feeding your children anyway and anyhow possibly especially when ya got a fine well established Food Pantry like this one I will continue to shop at when the time is needed.. thank you workers and community for this blessing of a place to be in working fashion to help our community and the less fortunate ones who NEED places like these Everywhere ! Thanks again and I highly recommend to anybody who second guesses this place like I once did TO NOT and just get inside and get some food with the help of caring and kind staff always ready and willing to help when you first walk in to the moment your finished , pure blessings.
