The Midwest Food Bank strives to bridge the gap between prosperity and poverty to help people who are suffering and in need. The Midwest Food Bank is also committed to being a place where local volunteer groups can come together to serve and give back to their communities.

Midwest Food Bank serves over 500 nonprofit organizations.  Our organizational structure enables many nonprofit organizations and volunteers to take part in our monthly distributions and daily activities.

Each month, one week is dedicated to local distribution. During the week, organizations pick up product to distribute to people in their community.  Hundreds of volunteers participate to make it possible.
