Well in the Desert - Service Center

Food assistance is provided for the homeless and working poor.
In addition this agency provides resum creation and job search assistance to help their clients gain employment.


Target Populations:  
Low Income, Homebound


Agency Hours:         
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 2:30pm.


Program Hours:       
Distribution occurs weekly - Saturdays at 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 A.M.

FIRST SATURDAY DISTRIBUTION
6:00 AM
    Most of our guests line up by 5:00 a.m.
    Bring a box, bags or other containers to transport the food items.
    You must show proof of residency, rent receipt, utility bill etc. Please bring a box, basket to have your food put in.

Second Saturday Distribution  10:00 a.m. to 11:00 A.M.
    Bring a box, bags or other containers to transport the food items.
    Details and extenuating circumstances can be discussed over the phone.


Intake/application: 
walk-in.


Documents:            
Picture identification, Social Security card for dependents.


Fees:                     
No fees.

I am at a point where I have no money. I am having trouble paying bills. I have no food in the house. I was told that this is a nice place to go. People a treated with respect. I hope you can help me out. Thank you. I am on SSDI and I am a senior. 64 years old.
