Second Harvest Inland Northwest, founded in 1971, leads a network of more than 300 neighborhood food banks and meal centers throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Second Harvest brings community resources together to feed people in need through empowerment, education and partnerships. Second Harvest distributes more than one million pounds of donated food each month to help people in need. The 300 partnerships make it possible to feed 48,000 people each week. Second Harvest's food bank network spans 21 counties in Eastern Washington and five counties in North Idaho.
