The Montgomery Area United Way funds 41 agencies who serve over 125,000 people each year in Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga counties. Our United Way is a community builder, working to bring 211 to Alabama as a first call for help and helping build a Therapeutic Community in Montgomery. United Way community needs assessments and grants helped begin the Chemical Addictions Program, the Montgomery Area Food Bank and many other local social service organizations.
