Founded in 1955, God's Pantry Food Bank's mission is to reduce hunger in Kentucky through community cooperation making the best possible use of all available resources. God's Pantry collects and distributes donated food to agencies across central and eastern Kentucky. God's Pantry works with over 390 partner agency programs to fight hunger and alleviate the symptoms that accompany it. For fiscal year 2008, we distributed more than 15 million pounds of food and grocery products to our member agencies and individuals in need. God's Pantry Food Bank is dedicated to reducing hunger in Kentucky through community cooperation making the best possible use of all available resources. God's Pantry serves 49 counties of central and eastern KY as a member of America's Second Harvest - the Nation's Food Bank Network.
