Georgia Mountain Food Bank

The Georgia Mountain Food Bank serves as a central clearinghouse for the collection of donated food to be distributed to charitable organizations that feed those in need.

Working with food outreach ministries, soup kitchens, emergency food pantries, shelters, and homebound service programs, food banks provide food to help working families make ends meet.

Food banks also provide food for drug & alcohol rehabilitation programs, programs for the disabled, group homes, senior centers, day care programs, after school programs, job training & placement programs.
The Georgia Mountain Food Bank (GMFB) is an affiliate of the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) , network member of Feeding America.

GMFB recently moved into a new food grade warehouse in Hall county , to better serve the 44 partner agencies in the 5 counties jointly served by GMFB & ACFB.
