Foodchange, Inc.

Founded in 1980, FoodChange provides emergency meals to New York City's hungry children and adults. After getting food on the table, we helped people identify and secure the income to pay for that food. Now, we strive to enhance the quality of the food available and to make nutrition and wholesome eating a daily reality for low-income New Yorkers. As an agent of change, FoodChange understands that the issues of hunger, nutrition, and income are interconnected and require creative and forward-thinking solutions. We redefine and refine our services in keeping with changes in the socio-economic and technological environment. Our dedication to addressing today's issues is matched by our anticipation of tomorrow's emerging problems and their potential solutions.We promote access to nutritious food and adequate income for all New Yorkers and are a leading advocate for improved government policies and programs and one of the city's foremost providers of selected direct service in these vital areas.
