Food Care Center

Established in 1987 as a food pantry to assist families in need of food assistance. Situated near the free world's largest military installation, the Food & Clothing Care Center has grown to meet the basic needs of food & clothing to our vast population of indigent, low, low to moderate-income households. The Center is a United Way Agency and obtains 100% of support from individual donors, churches and businesses who have a heart for the hungry, poor, elderly, disabled and those experiencing periodic financial hardship. From our 8000 square ft facility, The Center serves approximately 40,000 individuals annually, directly distributing nearly 1 million pounds of food and thousands of articles of clothing/household items.
