Food Bank Of Central Louisiana

The Food Bank's mission is to alleviate hunger in Central Louisiana, with programs such as:

Back Pack Program - Every Friday children receive a backpack containing nutritious foods that don't need to be cooked on a stove.

Kids Cafe Program - After school program offers hot meals and heavy snacks to children that may not otherwise get evening meals in a safe and nurturing setting.

Adopt-A-Senior Program - Provides supplemental food to impoverished seniors to alleviate some of the difficult choices between food, medicine and rent. The program currently supplies additional nutrition for over 2,500 seniors.
