Belvidere-Boone County Food Pantry

The poverty level in Boone County was 3,731 people when the 2000 census was taken. Since that time the poverty level in Boone County has risen to over 4,000. That is 7.9% of the entire population of Boone County. In the month of July, 2007, we served nearly 1100 people not including the people we served in our soup kitchen. We provide food,non-food items, clothes, household items and furniture, just to name a few. We try to meet all the needs of the needy with items then need every day.
